Rawalpindi: The Parks & Horticulture Authority (PHA) has decided to introduce a (Dubai’s) Burj Khalifa-styled hologram advertisement system in the city – a news source reported.
The system is expected to put an end to the huge signboards currently utilised for advertisement placement around the city and would replace it with the proposed modern, cost-effective technology.

As per reports, the first hologram will be installed on Murree Road opposite the Benazir Bhutto General Hospital on the metro pillars.
According to PHA Chairman Asif Mehmood this system would replace huge billboards and banners. A 2- to 5-foot bar can hold a hologram screen that can display advertisements in 20 colours and it costs just a thousand at a minimum, and a 100,000 at maximum.

The technology will be installed around the city in collaboration with the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), as well as the businesses community.
