Peshawar: Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) has prepared a plan to construct 500 low-cost apartments for federal government employees in Peshawar, reports a new source. The formal go ahead for the project was granted on February 13.
According to details, around 60-kanals in Hayatabad and 18-kanals in Hassan Garhi have been transferred to PHA. The authority will be constructing about 500 affordable apartments of all categories for government servants here. Sources have revealed that the land has been offered to PHA free of cost, which in turn will reduce their market price. Reportedly, a consultant for the project will be hired soon and development work will begin in about two months. A PHA spokesperson said that a formal announcement about the project will be made soon.
