Lahore: Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Chairman Ghazali Saleem Butt reviewed the progress of the ‘Lungs of Lahore’ tree plantation project during his visit to the site along the Ravi River on Saturday.
He inspected the plantation efforts across 800 acres on both sides of the river and assessed the growth of indigenous tree species suited to Punjab’s climate. Butt emphasized that the initiative, aligned with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision, aims to combat air pollution and enhance Lahore’s green cover.
