Rawalpindi: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has met its targets for the plantation drive, a news source reported. Under the campaign PHA staff also distributed more than 10,000 plants.
PHA staff planted trees along green belts, parks, government departments, education institutes, and throughout Murree.
On the 2nd of September, Capital Development Authority and PHA will jointly launch the Prime Minister Plantation Drive along Islamabad Highway. Meanwhile, seedballing techniques are also being used to plant trees in the mountains of Murree.
