Rawalpindi: Parks & Horticulture Authority (PHA) has launched a beautification campaign in Rawalpindi on Murree Road, Liaquat Road and the historical Liaquat Bagh as well as all the underpasses, flyovers, bus stops and metro stations in the area – a news source reported on December 22. PHA is collaborating with Bykea for the project.

According to the details, PHA has finalised the plan and immediately begun implementation. As per the plan, new benches and roofs will be constructed for all bus stops. Decorated dustbins will also be installed there.
Speaking to the media, PHA Chairman Asif Mahmood stated that special benches will also be installed in Liquat Bagh for the visitors and special sitting areas will be established in the park. Additionally, a special study area will be established for both male and female students at Liaquat Bagh and Allama Iqbal Park.

In metro stations, the pillars will also be beautified with cultural images and messages, multicoloured lights, and colorful LCDs.
