Gujranwala: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Gujranwala has decided to upgrade and rehabilitate 19 public parks in the city, a news source reported. These parks are located in various parts of the city.

For this purpose, the PHA will fix adventure rides, provide electricity, and ensure the parks’ cleanliness by spending an amount of PKR 300 million. Furthermore, the authority will also arrange for recreational facilities for the people visiting the said locations.
Speaking to the news media, PHA Chairman S.A Hameed said that the authority will construct canteens in these parks, for which applications are being invited. By doing so, the PHA also aims to increase its income.

As per the information shared by the PHA, the authority has also initiated a plantation and beautification drive in greenbelts and along major roads in the city.
