Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan on Tuesday stated that the city’s development figured as the ‘top priority’ for the provincial government; directing for all ongoing projects to be completed within the stipulated time period, a news source reported. The CM was chairing a meeting on the development projects underway in Peshawar at the CM Secretariat.

He further directed the officials concerned to acquire land that had been identified for the relocation of the General Bus Stand outside the city; directing for the process to be completed within two months. According to reports, the provincial authorities will be able to prepare the PC-1, feasibility study and engineering design of the project following the completion of the land acquisition process.

The meeting was also briefed about other ongoing projects in the city; including the solid waste management project, construction of the Ring Road, and the KP Cities Improvement Project Peshawar.
