Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Local Government Faisal Amin Khan on Monday (December 21) said that the work on PKR 3.679 billion Peshawar Bus terminal is nearing completion, news sources reported. He said that the international standard bus station will be completed by the end of the year 2023.

According to the report, the minister stated that the bus station will be located outside of the city at Sardar Ghari on G.T. Road and will help to alleviate traffic congestion in the city. Furthermore, the bus terminal would be directly linked to the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit system (BRT). Minister Khan stated that the government’s top goal is the beautification and development of the provincial capital, and the mega bus terminal is one of the government’s uplift projects.

According to the minister, the bus station would span over 300 kanals and will have state-of-the-art bus bays, parking places, leisure and waiting room amenities.
