The mobile application of the private taxi-hailing service will now enable its users in the city of Peshawar to call on the emergency services of Rescue 1122, including fire brigades and ambulances. The company has over 50,000 users across the city, who can access the service by selecting the option of an emergency services car when selecting from the category of Customer Car Type in the app.

The initiative has been taken in an attempt to improve the outreach of emergency services in the provincial capital. If the idea proves successful in Peshawar, the collaboration will likely be extended to other cities in the province. This solution provides citizens with quick and cheap access to emergency services. This initiative came as part of a series of steps the government of KP has been taking to introduce emergency services throughout the province, including in the tribal districts.
