Peshawar: The Peshawar police have decided to verify the documents of people who are living in rented houses in the provincial capital, a news source reported.
The authorities concerned recently took a decision to this effect. They decided to reintroduce this policy of verifying tenants’ particulars in a bid to tackle security issues.
Police personal in Peshawar have started verifying documents of property dealers, tenants and their guarantors. Previously, the government had barred the law enforcement personnel from checking the particulars.
