Peshawar: Rapid urbanisation in Peshawar has engulfed 3,307 acres of agricultural land over the past 13 years, according to a news source.
During an assembly session, a minister told the House that in 2001-02, the provincial capital had 109,889 acres of agricultural land, however, due to urbanisation, the agricultural acreage had shrunk down to 106,576 acres.
