Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has invited proposals and suggestions for the Peri-Urban plan of 3 tehsils within the Rawalpindi district including Kalar Syedan, Kahuta, and Taxila, a news source reported on July 10.

RDA Director General Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa chaired a meeting to determine the urban limited and completion of the Peri-Urban Structure Plan and Side Development Zone in Rawalpindi. He highlighted the significance of citizens’ objections and suggestions related to the peri-urban plan of 3 tehsils.
The meeting included a comprehensive presentation by Mott Macdonald Pakistan Company, the appointed consultant, regarding the proposals for the Peri-Urban Structure. The participants were informed about the newly defined urban limits and the associated restrictions outlined in the Peri-Urban Structure Plan.

Moreover, the objections and suggestions can be submitted to the office of the Director, Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE), RDA Muhammad Tahir Meo within the next seven days. These submissions will be considered for incorporation into the plan.
