Karachi: Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon discussed proposals regarding the expansion of the Peoples Bus Service (PBS) in Hawkesbay, Karachi, as reported on June 7.

According to the details, plans were outlined to introduce new routes in Malir, Keamari, Lyari, and District West areas. It was decided to commence trial runs on new routes from Hawkesbay to Saddar and from Manghopir to Banaras starting Monday. Additionally, an agreement was reached to extend the bus service route from Ziauddin Hospital to Chakiwara Chowk via Bilawal Chowrangi, 26 Street, Ghazri Lane, CM House, Sultanabad, and Mauripur.

The meeting brought together Pakistan People’s Party MPAs and MNAs from Karachi, along with officials from the Sindh Mass Transit Authority and the Peoples Bus Service. Sindh’s Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized the significance of expanding the bus service as a vital step towards enhancing public transport and improving citizens’ quality of life.
