Lahore: The Government of Punjab is looking to make Peco Road leading all the way to Jinnah Hospital signal-free, reported a news source. Punjab Minister for Industry and Trade Aslam Iqbal has instructed the Traffic Engineering and Transport Planning Agency (TEPA) to form a plan in this regard.
The decision has been taken to ease the traffic load on the route that connects commuters with Jinnah Hospital. The existing traffic load makes it difficult for patients and their families to reach the hospital. He asked TEPA to start working on the project to make this important road signal-free. Iqbal also directed TEPA officials to take measures to rehabilitate MAO College ground and Chauburji Ground.
