Lahore: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) recently approved an uplift scheme worth PKR 19.696 million, a news source reported. The proposed initiative pertain to the development of water schemes in various rural areas of Mianwali.

The Physical Planning & Housing sector had presented the project to the PDWP for approval during its 13th meeting for the (fiscal year) FY2019-20. Planning and Development Board Chairman Habib-ur-Rehman Gilani chaired the session.
Provincial secretaries, senior representatives from the relevant provincial departments, and members of the Planning and Development Board were all present at the occasion.

As per reports, the project will cover the cost of survey, feasibility study and preparation of the PC-I for the installation of systems for water supply in villages which are a part of ten union councils (UCs) in Khattak Belt, Tehsil Isa Khel, District Mianwali (PC-II).
