Lahore: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) approved eight uplift projects for several sectors in the province worth PKR 26,006.72 million, according to media reports.
The 39th PDWP meeting was chaired by Chairman Planning & Development Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal.

Following are the details of the approved projects:
- Allocation of PKR 1,693.187 million for the rehabilitation of Shahpur Bhera-Malikwal road (76.50 km) in the District of Sargodha
- PKR 1,311.509 million set up for the construction of a bypass from the Royal Hotel (N-5) to Sarwar Chowk via Adda Mai Wali Masjid (13.70 km) in Sahiwal
- PKR 6,322.43 million to be used for Punjab Agriculture Food and Drug Authority
- A fund of PKR 11.950 million for the technical assistance in Formulation of Rapid Housing Market Assessment for Naya Pakistan Housing Programme (NPHP)
- Allocation of PKR 6,558.788 million for the restoration of the road from Narowal to Muridke Interchange (M-2) (75.21km)
- PKR 4,039.788 million to be used for construction and restoration of tourism highway from Lower Topa Murree to Chowk Pandori via Kotli Station (123.62 km)
