Lahore: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved two major infrastructure projects in Lahore and Multan, totalling PKR 5.17 billion, according to a news source on February 20.

In its 65th meeting for the fiscal year 2024-25, chaired by Chairman P&D Board Barrister Nabeel Ahmad Awan, the PDWP sanctioned funding for:
- Rainwater Management Drainage Arrangement at Nishtar Park Sports Complex (Qaddafi Stadium), Lahore, with an allocation of PKR 2.03 billion.
- Replacement of the Outlived Sewer System in Multan (Phase II), aimed at improving the city’s drainage infrastructure.

The meeting was attended by Chief Economist Masood Anwar, members of the P&D Board, and other senior officials.
