Lahore: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Tuesday (August 24) approved five development projects for different sectors with an accumulated worth of PKR 65 million, according to news sources.

Chairman Planning & Development (P&D) Board Abdullah Khan Sumbal chaired the sixth meeting of PDWP at the P&D Complex. The meeting was attended by provincial secretaries of concerned departments, P&D Provincial Secretary Imran Sikandar Baloch, relevant representatives of provincial departments, and all members of the Planning & Development Board.
The details of the approved projects are as follows:
- Feasibility study for the establishment of special children village at Sharaqpur District Sheikhupura, at an estimated cost PKR 10 million
- Feasibility study of Cana Top Solar Power Generation at Rakh Canal Faisalabad and Gujranwala Division, at the cost of PKR 5 million
- Feasibility study for the establishment of Punjab Grid Company, at the total cost of PKR 20 million
