The patron-in-chief of the Federation of Realtors of Pakistan Sirajul Haq Yousafzai said that the project had not been completed despite ongoing construction work that has lasted over 25 years. He stated that the society’s zone 4 contained 35% of the total population of Regi Town and still had no mosque; whereas Zone 3 contains only two mosques.

Mr Yousafzai further revealed that the residents of both Regi Model Town and Hayatabad — Peshawar’s oldest and most populated neighbourhoods — have been facing numerous problems for which the authorities had so far not provided any solution. Yousafzai pointed out that the concerns of Peshawar’s most populous neighborhoods should be immediately addressed, before carrying out any work on any other real estate developments in the city.
