Peshawar: District Nasim Muhammad Asim Khan has instructed the Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) officials to extend their duty hours for on-time completion of Parking Skyline at Namak Mandi, reported a news source. He gave these directives while presiding over a meeting held to discuss work progress at the project site.

Peshawar City District Government Director General Mian Shafiq-ur-Rehman, PDA Director Building Engineering Asghar Khan and various important officials from PDA attended this meeting. The meeting members briefed the district nazim on project’s construction status, stating that digging work at the basement has been completed while work at the construction of sidewall is underway.

The PDA staff told the district nazim that an NOC is required from the Traffic Police for movement of cars transporting the building material. To this, Khan order the Peshawar Traffic Police to cooperate with the PDA with movements of cars supplying the building materials.

In addition, Khan asked PDA to share its work schedule plan for construction of the parking plaza, as well as how they intend manage provision of water and electricity connections. Regarding the completion of construction work at the plaza in stipulated timeframe, he directed the PDA to carry out the construction work in double shifts.
