Lahore: The Punjab government’s Planning & Development (P&D) department On Monday (January 31) approved the Samanabad Morr underpass project for PKR 1.54 billion, according to news reports. A 500-metre-long full-height underpass will be erected as part of the project, allowing two-way traffic from Gulshan Ravi to Samanabad. The Samanabad Morr Underpass project is one among numerous multi-billion rupee development projects approved by Chief Minister Buzdar. This includes the Sheranwala Gate flyover, the Shahkam Chowk flyover, and the signal-free corridor that connects Multan Road to Ferozpur Road. According to the administration, all of these projects have been planned with the city’s expanding traffic planning demands in mind.
