Under the shared details, this project will be implemented in three phases due to its high cost. In the first phase, sewer lines will be constructed on both sides of Nullah Leh from New Katarian Bridge to the Swaan River, covering a 16-kilometer stretch.
Subsequently, in the second phase, Nullah Leh will be widened from the middle to improve rainwater flow, and in the third phase, roads will be constructed on both sides. The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has been tasked with overseeing the project, and an executing agency has been appointed for the Nullah Leh authorised project.

The RDA has been instructed to utilise the approved funds to obtain consultant services for a comprehensive feasibility study, which will include the construction of large sewerage trunk lines on both sides of Nullah Leh. These trunk lines will divert sewerage away from Nullah Leh and into the Swaan River, contributing to better management of wastewater in the area.
