Lahore: The Planning and Development (P&D) Board launched a new website to update citizens about development activities in Punjab, according to a news report. This website will contain the latest news and information on activities being carried out by the department in Punjab.
P&D Chairman Habib-ur-Rehman Gilani inaugurated the website, and revealed that it offered a detailed virtual tour of the department’s development work in the province. This will include details regarding major foreign-funded projects, the Annual Development Programme (ADP), and documentation of numerous development projects underway.

In addition, he stated that this website takes the general needs of the people into account as well. This will be useful for the general public, students, researchers, press, and development partners. This website has been established as part of the current government’s drive for e-governance, and making information accessible for the public. The Punjab ADP, along with the PC-Is for other projects, will be placed online, as well as details about district and union-wise councils.
