Lahore: The Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) signed an agreement with the Sichuan International Chamber of Commerce to establish the Pakistan-Chengdu Economic and Trade Centre, as per a news report.
This trade centre is aimed at promoting joint business activities between China and Pakistan, especially the Special Economic Zones in Pakistan which have to be established under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed to formalise this agreement. The PCJCCI President SM Naveed and Sichuan International Chamber of Commerce President Ma Zhijun were present on the occasion.
