Lahore: The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) in collaboration with Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering department organised a meetup to attract business investors, industry leaders, and developers, news sources reported on September 9.

According to the details, the meetup was arranged to strengthen the business relations with potential and existing investors. Provincial Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal mentioned that Punjab has a vital role to play in the development of the country. He went on to say that the government aims to provide a comprehensive business environment across the province in order to attract more investment.
Moreover, the minister has asked the investors to start their projects in Lahore Central Business District and other mega cities. During the meetup, PCBDDA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Iman Amin informed the attendees about the ongoing projects of CBD Punjab. He mentioned that the first-year targets were achieved and aimed higher for the next year. He further added that the expansion of CBD across the province will bring a new pace of development to Punjab.

Reportedly, the provincial minister has directed the relevant authorities to remove all encroachments and beautify all exit and entry points of the city. He also ordered the authorities to plant trees on government-owned grounds. The minister instructed the authorities and housing societies to plant more trees along with green belts and wide roads.
