Lahore: The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA) continues to lead the charge in urban infrastructure development, making substantial progress in key projects such as the Walton Road Upgradation and Walton Railway Crossing Flyovers initiatives, as claimed by a source on April 1.

According to the details, CEO Imran Amin recently chaired a comprehensive review meeting, reaffirming the authority’s dedication to timely and impactful urban evolution. During the session, CEO Imran Amin was briefed on the significant advancements within the Walton Road Upgradation and Walton Railway Crossing Flyovers projects.
Key achievements were highlighted during the review. For the prominent Ishaq Shaheed Flyover, all six piers and two abutment walls have been completed, with ongoing work in shuttering and steel fixing, integral parts of the Walton Road Upgradation. Progress on the remodelling of ADA Nullah is equally noteworthy, with 70% of steel fixing accomplished and roadwork commenced. Moreover, significant headway has been made in the construction of Walton Railway Crossing Flyovers, with asphalt laid up to the MSC wall slope and girders completed for one section.

Executives including Riaz Hussain, Executive Director Technical Asif Iqbal, Director Project Management Sameer Aftab Sial, Director Architecture and Planning Asif Babar, Director Construction, along with representatives from NESPAK and NLC, attended the meeting.
