Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to set up International Cricket Stadium in Islamabad, a news source reported on May 23.

As per the details, the PCB management committee member Shakil Shaikh met with CDA Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal at the CDA headquarters and agreed in principle to construct an international cricket. In the preliminary meeting, it was decided that a cricket stadium will be constructed near D-12 at the foothills of Margalla Hills.

The CDA Chairman informed the PCB representative that 25 acres of land have been earmarked for the construction of a cricket stadium. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be prepared soon to be signed by both parties.
Moreover, the PCB to set up International Cricket Stadium while CDA will provide land and the revenue will be shared by both parties. The terms and conditions will be finalised later; however, the revenue sharing ratio between the CDA and PCB will be 30:70.
