Multan: The Multan Development Authority (MDA), in its 82nd Governing Body meeting held on July 17, approved the project concept (PC)-I for development of the Madni Chowk Flyover, according to a news source. The PKR 600 million project was approved by the MDA earlier in October 2019.

The session, chaired by MDA Vice Chairman Mumtaz Ahmed Qureshi, also approved the selling of plots reserved for disposal stations under the auction framework; and was attended by Punjab Chief Minister’s Spokesperson Sabeen Gul Khan, Member Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Saleem, and several notable MDA officials.

In addition to the above mentioned projects, the MDA also sanctioned the business plan for the Water and Sanitation Authority (WASA)’s water supply and sewerage initiatives. Further, the attendees decided that WASA would recover bills from the housing schemes that still await MDA approval.
