It is important to note that CM Buzdar, earlier in January, ordered the concerned departments to start work on the elevated expressway on a priority basis. As per the details, the expressway project will ease the burden of traffic on Canal Road and Multan Road. It was mentioned that the expressway will pass over Ferozepur Road, Canal Bank Road, Jail Road, Multan Road, and Bund Road to reach Babu Sabu Interchange.
