Islamabad: In order to resolve traffic issues on the 7th Avenue, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has prepared a PC-1 worth PKR 31 billion for the construction of an interchange on the road crossing Khayaban-e-Suharwardy and Kashmir Highway, according to a news source.
The PC-1 for the project will be approved in the CDA Development Working Party meeting, which will be chaired by the CDA Chairman Sheikh Anser Aziz, and attended by representatives from the Ministry of Capital Administration and Development Division, Finance and Planning Divisions.
The project will be completed in two phases once it is approved. Reportedly, the construction of the interchange will ease up the traffic flow on the intersection, which receives a high traffic load during rush hours.
