Islamabad: Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) has approved 28 agricultural projects, according to a news report. The projects were approved by the Technical Advisory Committee of the Board of Directors of Agricultural Linkages Program (ALP) of PARC.
The 40th meeting of the board of ALP was presided over by PARC Chairman Yusuf Zafar. The meeting evaluated the project proposal for funding, according to the report. These projects are directed towards the promotion and development of agriculture and livestock sectors of Pakistan. The ALP aims to promote and support agricultural research and development in Pakistan. This is being done in view of Pakistan’s long-term development goals and promotion of scientific cooperation between Pakistan and USA.
