Panjgur: Balochistan Minister for Social Welfare Mir Asadullah Baloch has announced the formation of an Education City in Panjgur District, a news source reported. The minister advised the locals against selling their land in the area, stating that the value of the district is expected to rise in the future.

Minister Baloch shared the information during a ceremony held to inaugurate Sabzab Education City and Township. Several important officials from the Balochistan Assembly and provincial government departments attended the event.

Sharing further details on the project, Baloch said that the education city would feature universities, colleges, hospitals and campuses. The project would also offer employment opportunities to thousands of people, as well as an anticipated ‘brighter future for the people of Panjgur’.

The minister also said that the education city and township would help in arranging for affordable education facilities for the people of Panjgur; while hinting that the value of land in the district was much higher than what many locals have been led to believe.
Furthermore, he added that the district was going to see the addition of several mega projects in the near future. Baloch also revealed that the provincial government had plans to construct homes for the locals.
