Lahore: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has formally launched Pakistan’s first-ever SMART Environment Protection Force in Punjab — a groundbreaking step aimed at tackling environmental challenges through technology-driven solutions.
Sharing the announcement on her official X (formerly Twitter) account, the chief minister hailed the move as a “milestone in Punjab’s journey toward environmental improvement.” She described the initiative as a bold and visionary approach to addressing pollution and climate-related issues with modern tools and methods.
