Abu Dhabi: Pakistan has formally signed a participation contract for Dubai Expo 2020 at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Abu Dhabi, a news source reported. Pakistan’s ambassador to UAE Moazzam Ahmad Khan signed the contract with Assistant Minister, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Sultan Al Shamsi. Khan signed this contract under his capacity as Commissioner General Expo 2020.
The ceremony was witnessed by Advisor to Prime Minister on Commerce, Textile, Industry and Production and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood and UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General Expo 2020 Reem Al Hashimy.
With the contract signed, the construction of Pakistan Pavilion in Dubai Expo 2020 has formally begun. Pakistan Pavilion will be based on the ‘Emerging Pakistan’ theme, and all provinces will be represented there.
