Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed on Thursday (March 24) inaugurated the Pakistan Monument Park in Sector H-8 for the public, according to news sources.

As per the details, Pakistan Monument Park is developed along the Islamabad Highway under the shadow of the largest National Flag. The park will provide information about the history of Pakistan and offer entertainment facilities to the residents of Islamabad. Its main aim is to inform the young generation about the freedom movement and sacrifice rendered for the cause.
Moreover, the park features a walk-through history museum and 2D and 3D designed walls. In a statement issued by the CDA, it was disclosed that the park has the picture-representation of the biggest migration to create historical awareness of the Independence of Pakistan among the young generation.

Furthermore, the CDA is expeditiously working for the provision of other facilities including walkways, cycling tracks for children, swings, jogging tracks, benches, parking, security, and lighting. It was revealed that to keep the environment fresh and green, different seasonal flowers are being planted.
