Islamabad: The Advisor the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Commerce and Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood announced via his official Twitter handle that Amazon has added Pakistan to its approved seller list.

The concerned team has been working at this since last year by engaging the people of Amazon and ultimately, they have unlocked an achievement. Following the approval from Amazon, the prime minister termed it as a ‘great development’ and said that it will enable young men and women entrepreneurs to join the export market.

As predicted, E-commerce has become a vital part of each economy especially since the outbreak of the ongoing pandemic. The advisor has emphasized the need for this development several times and made every effort to get Pakistan on Amazon’s approved seller list. Through this, Pakistani youth, women entrepreneurs, small and medium enterprises will all be able to sell on Amazon from Pakistan directly, a process that was previously too elaborated to easily processed.
Being on Amazon’s approved seller list, entrepreneurs and sellers from Pakistan will be able to tap the global market of millions of customers on a single platform and bring in remittances to the country.
