Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday stated in a Twitter message that ‘Pakistan is a land of unimaginable beauty, hidden natural wonders and untapped tourism potential’, according to news sources.
This twitter message came in response to an article published in a European magazine called Wanderlust, which highlighted 9 Pakistani destinations for adventurers in 2020. These destinations included spots ranging from the mountains of the Himalayas, to the lunar landscapes of mud volcanoes.
The list described destinations that offer natural scenic diversity and breathtaking beauty, undisturbed by large crowds. The top adventure tourism spots in Pakistan, as listed by the magazine, included Baltoro Glacier, Trango Towers, Deosai, Hunza, Attabad, Neelum, Lake Saif-ul-Malook, Thar Desert and Hingol National Park.
