Islamabad: Pakistan is to get its first bee museum to teach existing and future generations about the environmental advantages of growing bee-friendly flora and fruits trees, according to news published on May 4. Reportedly, the museum will be set up in Neelishang in KP.

Serena Bee Museum is a project by Haroon Rasheed and Chris Rasheed, who are founders of ‘Bee Happy Raw Honey’ – a California based firm. The land for setting up the museum has been provided by Pakistani billionaire Omer Malik.

The initial prototype of the bee sanctuary has already been delivered to Lahore. The project design is nearing completion and it is expected that the groundbreaking of the museum will be held by the end of this year. The facility will also help train beekeepers and introduce new generations the importance and delights of beekeeping.
