Lahore: The federal government on Wednesday unveiled the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal web service, a news source reported. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Bukhari inaugurated the facility.

According to the details shared, the aim of Pakistan Citizen’s Portal web service was to provide more facilitation to the public with regard to their complaints registration concerns. Sources revealed that the additional service was launched as per the directions of PM Imran Khan.
The PM Office revealed that with the introduction of the web-based utility, the portal would provide complaints registration access to over 80 million users. Previously, when the portal was only accessible via the mobile application, it only allowed 30.5 million people to register their complaints.

PM Khan had launched the Citizen’s Portal in October 2018 as part of the government’s efforts to facilitate the public in the registration of their complaints and suggestions, in addition to providing timely feedback against their concerns.
