As per the publication, the safety guidelines are meant to protect the staff and customers from the COVID-19 infection. The guidelines are as follows:
- Maintain as little contact with the bank branch as possible. For your banking needs, use the Alternate Delivery Channels (ADCs) such as mobile banking, internet banking, and ATM on which no charges will be applied.
- Use the ADCs because the currency notes used in a physical exchange with the bank might become the cause of COVID-19 infection and spread.
- Avoid shaking hands with the bank staff while performing your transactions at the bank. IN addition, wash your hands with soap after using the bank facilities, such as ATM.
- If you have a fever or cough, please avoid visiting your bank branch.
For further information, call your bank’s helpline number and call centre number for further information.
