Peshawar: Pakhtunkhwa Highway Authority (PKHA) has invited Expression of Interest for construction of Phase II of Swat Expressway from Chakdara to Fatehpur ounder Public Private Partnership through a publication in a local daily.

According to details, Phase I of Swat Expressway run from Captain Kernal Sher Khan Interchange on M-1 to Chakdara. In the Phase II, the expressway is going to be extended from Chakdara to Fatehpur. It will cover a distance of nearly 80 kilometres and an access controlled 4-lane facility will be laid.
The Phase II will start from Chakdara Interchange and pass through Malakand and Swat districts. The project is expected to lift and open up Swat Valley for tourism. The government also plans on establishing Integrated Tourism Zones at the scenic locations along the expressway.

The last date for submission of prequalification documents has been set for December 10, 2020 by 3:30 PM.
