Islamabad: Pakistan and Turkey on Thursday finalised an agreement for boosting cooperation in water resources, industrial, and other sectors, a news source reported. Both sides reached the understanding during a meeting held between Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda and Turkish Ambassador Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul.

Assuring the Turkish envoy of Pakistan’s full cooperation in improving the field of water resources, Vawda said that his government was enthusiastic to work with Turkey on different projects.
In response, Yurdakul appreciated the incumbent government’s efforts for bringing improvement in various sectors – especially pertaining to water resources’ field. He also assured the Pakistani minister that existing cooperation between the two sides for different fields would continue.

Vawda thanked the envoy for his acknowledgement of his government’s efforts for improving the country’s many sectors, and stressed that bilateral relations between the two countries would become stronger in the future.
