Lahore: The Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) has announced its decision to conduct the ‘Offline/Online Pakistan China Industrial Expo 2020’ in collaboration with the Everest International Expo Private Limited on November 13-15 in Lahore, a news source reported.

PCJCCI President SM Naveed said that the aim of the initiative was to allow participants to either attend the session through virtual means or by practicing social distancing at the venue. He was accompanied by Everest International Expo Private Limited CEO Frank Fa, PCJCCI Senior Vice President Daud Ahmed, Vice President Khalid Rafique Choudhry, and Secretary General Salahuddin Hanif.
SM Naveed said that the coronavirus pandemic had forced organisations around the world to limit their large gatherings to a few attendees; adding that participants at the virtual expo session would be able to view ‘Chinese enterprises of CNC machinery, construction machinery, new energy, building material, agricultural machinery, plastic machinery, hardware, chemical, and auto parts.’

Going forward, he said, all business-to-business meetings would be conducted via said online terminal equipment in order to limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
