Peshawar: The trade association of Pakistan and Afghanistan are planning to hold a Pak-Afghan industrial expo this December in Peshawar, according to a news report. The aim of this expo is to promote bilateral relations by facilitating traders in both countries.

The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and the Pak-Afghan Chamber of Commerce and Industry will jointly organise the event in a bid to boost trade and business cooperation between the two countries.
SAARC Chambers of Commerce Vice President Haji Ghulam Ali said that this industrial expo would be an important step in bringing the business communities of both countries close to each other. It would also help generate employment opportunities and promote industrial development; which will, in turn, improve the socioeconomic conditions as well, he added.

In this exhibition, traders will set up over 30 stalls of industrial and agricultural products, with traditional foods and cultural shows also available.
