Effective measures are being taken to avoid any unfortunate incidents of buildings collapsing during the monsoon season this year. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the country is expected to receive 10% more rain than the average downpour normally recorded during the monsoon.
According to sources within the MCF, the corporation identified 35 buildings in a survey that are prone to collapse during the monsoon season. Reportedly, these buildings are located in populated areas, mounting the chances of heavy life loss in case any one of these buildings collapses.
