Islamabad: The Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) has completed 5,348 housing units in the country during the last year, according to a news story. On the other hand, 5,915 housing projects are ongoing, and are to be completed within time.
A PHA official said that the main purpose of the organisation is to house as many people through development and construction by building apartments for low income groups at affordable costs. While talking to media, the official said that the organisation has 13 more such projects across the country, especially in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. PHA is now striving to construct high rise buildings, starting with Maymar Towers.
