Islamabad: Capital Development Authority has declared 405 buildings in Islamabad dangerous, states a news source.
According to details, the CDA Disaster Management Cell (DMC) has identified 257 old buildings in the Blue Area and has declared them highly dangerous. DMC Additional Director Ammadudin has informed the Building Control Section, in writing, to take the necessary measures to ensure the safety of these building.
The letter also identifies 148 industrial buildings as highly dangerous. Furthermore, the CDA has also asked the department concerned to arrange for firefighting equipment in the Diplomatic Enclave buildings.
