Vehari: The Punjab Land Record Authority has announced that in order to provide better and cleaner setup services to public, 21 new land record centres will be established in some of the busiest tehsils of the province, a news source reported. At the moment, land record centres in 14 tehsils have already been built, while those in the remaining 7 are under construction. These are expected to be completed by June 2018.
The land record centre in Burewala has been established at a cost of PKR 55.812 million. These new buildings are larger than the old ones and have sitting space for more than 200 people. Efforts are also being made to add special counters for women and elderly.
