Sargodha: The Divisional Coordination Committee (DCC) has approved 161 development projects under the Community Development Programme (CDP), a news source reported. The projects have been approved for Sargodha, Mianwali, Khushab, and Bhakkar districts.

According to the Commissioner Office sources, 86 schemes have been approved for Sargodha District. These include 56 schemes for clean drinking water and 12 schemes for roads construction.
In Khushab District, the DCC approved eleven schemes. These include eight schemes of clean drinking water and three projects for roads construction.
The authority approved forty schemes for Mianwali. These include 28 projects pertaining to clean drinking water and sanitation. The rest of the twelve are for the education department.
For Bhakkar District, the DCC has approved about 42 schemes. 24 of these are geared for the construction of roads, while 18 are aimed at providing clean drinking water.

Currently, construction work is underway on 485 schemes – worth PKR 5.98 billion – in all four districts of the Sargodha Division.
