Murree: The outdated sewerage system is causing trouble for the residents of the resort town, where sewerage drain water has flooded streets and lanes, reported a news source.
The sewerage lines laid decades ago along roads linking Kashmir Point with GPO Chowk on Mall Road, as well as along Tehsil Road, Seroz Gali and Lower Bazar have been blocked. In some areas, reports have also been received about drain water flowing into houses and shops.
Residents of Murree request the officials concerned to take notice of the situation, construct rain drains, and replace new sewerage lines on an urgent basis.
